Commonly known as ‘training collars’, martingale collars fit looser around the neck when the chain is not tugged on. However, if the two rings of the control loop touch when it is pulled tight by the leash, the collar is too loose.

I LOVE the colour and design of this collar, super cute and fun for the summer. Faded a bit with wear (normal) but still looks great! Only complaint is my dogs neck fur is white and the stainless steel part turns her neck a dark grey colour and makes her looks dirty. Probably won't get this type of martingale collar again but highly recommend for dogs with non-white fur on their necks!

Received ours today and the design was perfect - as advertised. Solid chain and great fit for our Black lab. Shipping was fast considering what's happening in BC. We will definitely purchase a new set when our lab needs a new collar in the Spring

We waited a month for your sale and finally purchased our Donut kit during Black Friday. We received the set today and couldn't be happier with the quality martingale. I love this collar and won't use anything else for the next while even though my dog is use to the large utility harnesses. Although my dog doesn't pull much but I still like the chained martingale giving that extra collar texture and look. Sizing was perfect and I highly recommend this product if you are looking for something cute and fun!

Please be aware when purchasing as their size recommendation is wildly wrong. My dog is 40lbs with a 15" neck circumference which led me to buy a large. Per the size chart large should fit 15"-26". The product I received had the shortest setting of 19" which means the product is either defective or the their recommendation is incorrect. I've emailed their customer service for an exchange and the representative Jenn gave me 2 options. 1. Send the collar back and exchange it for a medium but I will need to pay for return label (even though I followed their recommendation) or 2. Buy a new medium size collar and donate the one I received. I was insulted they had the audacity to ask me to spend more money with their company and reject both options. Then they asked me to send them pictures of the collar next to a measuring tape which I was happy to do but I was faced with the criticism of measuring incorrectly. They insinuated that I measured the buck twice but I didn't because I know they overlap. Nonetheless the measurements still wouldn't have been short enough even if we subtract the buckle all together. After 10 email exchanges they finally offered to send me a new collar customized to be 4.5" shorter. The new collar I received was still a 17" circumference. At this point, I've accepted my loss of $20. It just isn't worth my time.
